About this Feature

Collaborate with your clients or colleagues for a more productive and efficient event planning process. Assign the necessary access rights to fellow event collaborators.


Note: Depending on your subscription, you will have a pre-defined quantity of collaborators to work with. 


1. Open the Admin Console 


1a. From the User profile menu:


Login to Gevme and access via the Admin Console 


1b. or click on collaborating from the event listing page:



2. Admin Console 

You will be presented with the following screen under the Organisation tab and choosing Users  in the left-hand navigation:



3. User Roles

Access control is set via “User roles” in the left-hand navigation:


You will be presented with the following screen:



Admin, Event Organizer and Email Marketer are the default roles in GEVME. You may choose to update the user permissions for an Event Organizer, Email Marketer or create a new user role. The Admin role will have full unrestricted access and privileges in the system.

Note: The Admin role can be neither deleted nor edited. 



Create New User Role

1. Click on “Create new user role” in the left-hand navigation or at the top right-hand corner of your screen.


2. You will be presented with the following screen:

  1. New User Role
    Key in the name of the new user role to be created.
  2. Role Description
    Key in the description of the role.
  3. Role Privileges
    There are many privileges that you can grant for each role.
    Access, create, edit, or export data. Approve an action.
  4. Create
    When ready, click the “Create” button.


Export Permission is added for every reports. This will help your data protection control


 

4. Invite users to your event

1. Click on “Invite more people” in the top right-hand corner of your screen.



Invite as Admin user:


Invite as Event Organiser user role:

  1. Email Address
    Key in the invited email address.
  2. User Roles
    Role to be assigned. If the user role selected has no access to ALL events and/or Templates, you then have to assign relevant events and templates for the user. 
  3. Event
    Event to be assigned.
  4. Template
    Template to be assigned.
  5. Send invitation
    Send invitation when ready.

 

5. Suspend/Unsuspend User

You may suspend/unsuspend the user account, change the user role, or add/remove assigned events/templates here.
