By default, all emails sent from GEVME Registration is masked under events@gevme.com

If you wish to override it with your organisation’s email address, it is a 2-step process:

STEP 1: Add your Organiser Email under Event Details settings

Under Event Details, select the Organiser Profile that you wish to use

Edit Organiser with your preferred email address which is used as Email Sender.

STEP 2: Decide to whitelist Email or Domain

EMAIL WHITELISTING (Per Event basis)

Submit your request to Gevme Support: cs.reg@gevme.com

Email Content:

  • Request for Email Whitelisting
  • The Email: .............................
  • The Event ID: .........................

GEVME then will trigger a verification link to your mailbox

  • Look out for Sender: no-reply-aws@amazon.com
  • Ensure that you have access to the mailbox
  • Verification Link is valid 24 hours only

Sample Email with the verification link:

Upon successful verification, the page https://aws.amazonses.com/ses/verifysuccess/ opens on your browser:

The Outcome:

DOMAIN WHITELISTING (Per Organisation basis)

Submit your request to cs.reg@gevme.com

Email Content:

  • Request for Domain Whitelisting
  • The Domain: ......................................
  • The Organisation ID: .........................

Gevme then will generate 3 CNAME records and share them via email for your IT/Infrastructure Team's action.

Your team has 72 hours to add these records to your Domain Name System(DNS).

If you are unsure if this method is feasible for your organisation, please share the document below with your IT/Infrastructure for their assessment.

Document:

  • Objective: This guide aims to help you update your domain's DNS settings, enabling Gevme to send emails on behalf of your domain name.
  • File: GEVME-DKIM Set Up Instruction.pdf

The Outcome:

Note: With Domain whitelisting, the recipient email can be changed dynamically to another email using the same domain.
In the above example, email can be sent out from rsvp@xyz.com, jane@xyz.com, etc

STEP 3: Validate the whitelisting

Inform Gevme to validate the whitelisting, before you can test the whitelisting on the Event/Organisation.
