Using Swoogo Barcodes with the Gevme System
The Gevme system can recognise and process Swoogo barcodes. Follow the steps below to ensure smooth integration.
Providing Barcode Data
To enable barcode recognition, please share:
- Barcode number
- Linked attendee or event details
Use the Correct Data Format
Send the data in a structured format:
- CSV File (preferred)
- Excel Sheet
- API Integration (if pre-arranged)
Ensure that the barcode number is in a separate column and clearly labeled.
Sending the Data
You may send the file via:
- Email (to the designated support contact)
- Secure file transfer
- API integration (if pre-arranged with our team)
Verify & Test before the Event
We recommend:
- Sending test barcode data for verification by scanning a sample barcode using Gevme system to confirm successful recognition and linking to the correct attendee or event details.
- Running a small test batch to confirm compatibility
- Coordinating with our support team for troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
Issue: Barcode not recognized
Solution: Ensure that the barcode number is included in the submitted data.
Issue: Incorrect barcode scan results
Solution: Verify that the barcode number is correctly formatted and matches Swoogo's output.
