Overview
If you need to allow attendees to manage their registration, you can include a Manage Registration Call-to-Action (CTA) button or a hyperlink that directs them to their personalised wallet edit link.
This gives registrants quick and convenient access to their registration details—making it easy to update information, manage event options, or complete payment.
Different from the traditional Wallet, no Login / Password creation is required.
How the Feature Works
Follow the steps below to enable this feature seamlessly:
1. Enable Registration Editing for Attendees
In your Form Settings, ensure that the option Allow ticket buyer to update information after registration is checked. This allows attendees to modify their registration details post-confirmation.
2A. Add a CTA Button: Edit Registration Details (Email Confirmation)
To include a prominent CTA button in the Confirmation Email
- Navigate to Add Content > Call to Action > Edit Registration Details
- A button labeled Edit Registration Details will be inserted into the email body
- You can customise the button’s text, color, width, and height to match your branding
This button will direct registrants to their personal wallet where they can update their information and manage payments.
2B. Add a Hyperlink Instead of a Button
If you prefer a more subtle approach:
- In the Confirmation Email editor, type your preferred display text (e.g., Click here to manage your registration)
- Highlight the text and insert a Hyperlink
- Set the following link properties:
Protocol: <other>
URL: {{wallet_access_link}}
Target: New Window (_blank)
Save your changes.
The hyperlink will now appear in the body of the email.
3. Attendee Experience
When an attendee receives the confirmation email and clicks either the Edit Registration Details button or hyperlink, they will be directed to their Gevme Wallet. From there, they can:
- Edit registration details
- Add optional items (add-ons)
- Make or complete payments
This provides a seamless, self-service experience for managing event participation.
