Advisory on Event Description Issue and Resolution
When: From 1:20pm, 29 Sep 2024 To 1:30pm, 30 September 2024
Issue Overview:
We discovered that all event descriptions were missing from the event pages. The issue was caused by an update to the HTML editor, which prevented previously saved event descriptions from appearing correctly from 29th September 1:20 PM Singapore time.
Impact:
As a result, event pages did not display the event description field, affecting the visibility of key information for event organisers and attendees.
Resolution:
The issue with the HTML editor has been resolved, and all missing event descriptions were successfully restored by 30th September 1:30 PM Singapore Time.
It’s important to note that any updates made to event descriptions between 9 AM and 1:30 PM of 30 September 2024 were not overwritten during the restoration process.
