Managing attendees just got easier. Gevme now offers a powerful Ticket Transfer feature that allows event organisers to transfer tickets from one attendee to another — quickly, securely, and with minimal effort. Whether an attendee can no longer make it or there's a last-minute change, this feature ensures a smooth transition and accurate event records.


How the Feature Works

To use the ticket transfer feature, organisers must have the Manage Attendees permission enabled. Do note that this feature is only available in the new grid experience.


Here’s how the process unfolds:


1. Select the Attendee

In the new attendee grid, select the attendee whose ticket needs to be transferred. The Transfer option will appear when a single attendee is selected.


** If the selected attendee has already checked in or logged in, the system prompts a confirmation message to proceed. This helps prevent unintended changes.


2. Enter New Attendee Details

You’ll be prompted to enter the details of the new attendee.


First Name*

Last Name*

Email*


These 3 fields are compulsory for the Transfer. Other Form Fields can be updated by clicking on Show More.


And Initiate the Send Confirmation Email to the New Attendee.

3. Automatic Update

The system will:

  • Cancel the original attendee.
  • Generate a new record and ticket number for the replacement.
  • Automatically log the change for future reference.
